These two terms are used interchangeably, but while they are part of the same family, they are certainly not the same thing. Yes, they both have something to do with words, but their purpose is different.

Examples of SEO copywriting include mottos, advertisements, jingle verses, product descriptions, and many other pieces of content that directly encourage users to buy a product. As a result, aside from keywords, copywriting will also involve structures such as calls to action and many more. 

In many cases, you will need to set up successful SEO content writing in order to have an efficient SEO copywriting strategy. Content writing will bring traffic to your page, whereas copywriting will turn the visitor into a buying customer.

There is a clear difference between the two: SEO content writing informs the customer, whereas SEO content sells a product. SEO content writing does not have the express purpose of selling the product, although it offers you the means to do so. SEO copywriting, however, encourages readers to buy a product, converting the readers into leads and buyers.
